March for Music Therapy- VANCOUVER

UPDATE April, 2014

What a wonderful day the inaugural nation wide March for Music Therapy turned out to be! Although small in numbers, the marchers were big in heart and voice. We hoofed through the famous BC Rainforest torrential downpours and hail storms in downtown Vancouver. We had supporters honking their cars along our march, people smiling, and greeting us and as we sang loud and proud, spreading the word about the profession of Music Therapy. Thank you to all who participated, especially our local sponsors, Blenz Coffee, Steve Nash Fitness World Davie St., and The Regal Beagle Restaurant and Pub in Kits. Funds raised benefit music therapy clinical projects in the participating cities via The Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund. Total raised across Canada was $23,700! Thank you!
